Two and Loving Life

Our little Aida is so fun right now! Trying-YES, but fun! Her imagination is developing, and I sometimes just peek in her room and watch her for 10 or 20 minutes! She is also just so genuinely sweet. I walk in a room, and she just looks at me and tells me "I Lobe E Mom", and my heart melts, each time! Every morning she sweetly says "A Morning Mom (Dad, Ariah, Aida)" and then she lets me know that she "Sleep Well". She will come in and just give me big hugs and kisses even when I don't ask for them. I also love to watch her interact with Ariah. She will smell Ariah's hair and then gently kiss her head, it is so motherly!! Almost daily she brings tears to my eyes by just being Aida! Her defiancy and independence is sure increasing, and she can be a real handful, but all and all she is still my sweet little girl! She is doing a good job at potty training, but we are not quite to the point that I can get her to just sit and immediately go, but I know it will come in time! I am the one who isn't being as diligent at it also, sometimes it is just easier to throw a diaper on when we leave, or continue it all after nap, so I am trying to be better as well.
