I'm addicted to making Valentine's Day crafts! I think these are all I'm planning on making this year though. Winter makes me quite un-motivated, but this past week has been great. It is amazing how much fun I have creating things!
These are out of 1/4" thick wood that is 5 1/2" tall and 4" wide. I painted the wood, cut out the letters out of paper, added the background paper, and then the embellishments. I then drilled the holes to connect them together with wire.
These are out of 5 1/2" high and 1 1/2" thick wood cut to 12" and 16" lengths with a 4" piece from a 2 x 4. Again I just painted the wood then decorated them with paper and the letters I cut out from paper. I didn't embellish these though. I think I will modge podge them as soon as I buy more.
Both of these were pretty simple and didn't require many tools. I just had to have my neighbor cut the wood for me. Someday I'll have some saws! Someday...

Those are so cute! I lack complete ambition to do much of anything that isn't required during the winter. I guess I need to change that about myself with Alaksa winters being so long. Hey did I tell you I saw your mom and dad at Davids Wedding? It was fun to visit. I had no idea that they were working at the visitors center.
