Utah

After I spent two and a half weeks in Idaho, Nathan joined us and we headed to Utah. We were there for two weeks, and it was so good to see family and friends again! You don't realize how much you miss everyone until you get to see them and then have to leave again-so we are still keeping our fingers crossed that we will be headed west next year!

The two weeks went by so quick, and was mostly spent making lots of visits. Plus we did spend a heck of a lot of time looking into buying a van. I feel bad because I failed to pull out the camera for much of it. But we did get some. When we visited Nathan's dad and his wife, Grandma Cowan did get some adorable shots of the girls.

Aida was looking at a spider in this picture-she tends to look away when the camera is pulled out!

Arent' they the cutest sisters? Aida looks all loving in this shot, but seconds later she thought it was a great game to fall back with Ariah in tow! Ariah tolerates her sister very well!

Here is Grandma Cowan with Ariah. It's been hard being away from family because this trip was the first time for everyone to meet our sweet little girl.

Ariah loved to spend time on Grandpa Cowan's lap. He really does love his grandbabies, and they all hold a special place in his heart!

Hey Annie! My mother-in-law mentioned that you called! Sorry, I was sipping a pina colada by the beach...okay, not really, huricane holijo ruined it for us and we spent the day reading books in the hotel room. Watching the waves was pretty impressive though! I'll call you tomorrow! By the way, I love all the utah pictures, notice how much warmer it looked here, you should have spent more time south of the border! :)

You have had such an amazing summer!! I know family is so wonderful, for years we were only 45 minutes away and it felt like hours. We would love to see you move closer, you know there's lots of empty lots in our neighborhood still. I will save one for you -k- Have a good rest of the summer!!

It was fun to see Nathan's family! Isn't it neat to see that we all have two sides to our families. I think sometimes we forget that with all the Finch's running around!!!
You are in a fun phase of life. Enjoy every second.
Love ya

Fun memories and pics. You have a beautiful family! Good luck with your second year of school. I'll be thinking about you guys as I write checks for our massive student loan payments while you are still gaining more loans.
