I know that it is now December, but I want to catch up since I have been way behind! So bear with me! I sometimes don't post other things because I feel like I need these to be on there first, so here goes! Oh, and yes, there will be lots of pictures!
October 1st was Ariah's birthday, but due to a not so lucky or enjoyable trip home from Nauvoo, we post-poned the celebrations to the 2nd. I did make a post on her big day, but that picture was staged, and she was digging into a cake we bought for some cute shots. Here are some of the actual footage!
Here she is with the caterpillar cake I made her.
She wanted to put out the candle with her fingers instead of blowing!
On October 3rd, we took Miranda and her kids to St. Louis to catch her plane the next day. Well, she almost didn't get on that plane, thanks to our Navigation system! Lesson learned, the system works great if you have an actual address, and don't just type in the location name! So we got her on the plane just 8 minutes before take-off! I'm sure we looked like a scene from a movie getting her on that plane! I think someone was answering our prayers!
But all in all we had a great trip with her, and were so grateful she came out to the midwest for a visit. We love having family visit! (I'm sure she loves the fact that I am putting this picture of her on it, but let's just say it doesn't even do justice to what she's done!)
On October 10th Nathan's school put on a Stillabration. It is an annual activity, and it is always centered around family entertainment. Aida was so excited that this year's theme was western! She had to wear her cowgirl boots!
Here are both Aida and Ariah on a pony ride!
Here's Aida doing the beanbag toss.
And here is Aida roping a cow. After all of the games, they provided dinner, and had a talent show. We all had a great night!
On October 22nd (the day we found out that we are headed back to Utah for 3rd and 4th year), I took Nathan back to school after lunch, and we saw this in the parking lot! I went home and grabbed my camera, and made it back before they trotted away!
Only in Kirksville!Just a few days after I saw this the girls and I saw a crazed deer running through the middle of our town! It ran across the busy street, appeared to be trying to get in the door to a house, but when that didn't work, attacked it for a while, then got stuck between some railings before running on down the street! Why didn't I have my camera then?!
On October 25th we took the girls out to a corn maze. We surprising spent longer inside the maze than many other people, but we had fun!
They had a big straw pile for the kids to play on. Here is Ariah, crawling around in the hay.
Aida loved jumping off the top of the pile. Here she is right after she landed with Nathan jumping right next to her.
Here are Nathan and the girls sitting on the edge of a mini maze made out of hay bales.
Here I am with the girls after we finished the maze. It was quite muddy, and I think my stroller still has dirt on it!
A family picture with the scarecrow!
We celebrated Nathan's Birthday on the 29th, but I already posted that, so if you missed it, just scroll down a little bit!
For Halloween we celebrated by attending our ward trunk or treat on the 30th. On the 31st we went to a trunk or treat at Nathan's school then took the girls over to the city square and did some more trick or treating. After that, we decided we had more than enough candy, and didn't do any real door-to-door trick or treating. But Nathan and Aida did carve a pumpkin later that evening!
Surprise, surprise! Aida fell in love with this horse costume at Walmart, so we made her into a cowgirl to ride it!
Ariah made the cutest teddy bear! But we felt bad because it was such a warm costume and we had 80 degree weather!
Here is Nathan doing the cake walk with the girls at the ward party.
Isn't this a great Sponge Bob costume?! We had a great month and enjoyed the seasonably warm weather! It was great getting in a lot of trips to the park before winter began!

I love your family pic on the hay bales. You guys are a cute family!
Their halloween costumes are so cute! The maze sounds fun. I love that kind of stuff but haven't done anything like it since Jake and I have been married. I need to drag him to one next year. Shelby will be old enough to enjoy it too.
