Our Trip-Take One-Indoor Fun!

Well as it has been stated many times, we spent an enjoyable 5 weeks with family this summer. It was just the boost we needed to make it through one more year of book work before we move and begin 3rd and 4th year rotations. But the trip home did make us really want to go back near family for rotations, (Utah), but it is just not in our hands, so we will have to see where we will end up next year. We list our choices in October, and the results will be in come November. But for now, here are some pictures and exciting narrative about our trip.
When we first got to Idaho it was definitely not summer. Yes it was June, but someone forgot to tell the weatherman that. For almost two weeks the temperature stayed right around 60 degrees or colder. In fact we even woke up to snow one of those days. Of course I packed mostly summer clothes, but luckily I did have some pants and sweaters for the girls. They just wore the same things over and over! It has to be the coldest birthday I have had in a while. But at least having family around made up for that! My sister Miranda and I have birthdays right next to eachother, so it was fun to celebrate together, like we used to always do growing up. And my mom made me my favorite pie-rhubarb, which was only shared with two other people. Needless to say, I ate more than my fair share! Thanks mom!
But anyway, due to the nature of the weather, we had many a playdate at indoor eateries including Arctic Circle & McDonalds! Here are some pictures:

Arctic Circle:

Aida was dipping her chicken rings in Jaxon's fry sauce because of course it tasted better than her own!

Braylee is such a good older cousin. Aida really enjoyed spending time with her. I think she gave Aida a quarter shortly after this so she could get a $.25 toy!

Ariah is so cute on slides! If you put her in just the right place she can get herself going and slide down all on her own!

Aida loves play places at restaurants, too bad they are non-existant here in Kirksville!

McDonalds:

Isaac and Ariah usually enjoyed their gourmet baby food when we went out to eat.

Ariah actually seemed to have a good time watching the kids, don't let this picture fool you!

Play places really brought out crazy Aida. She took in every last bit of the towers of plastic play! And probably every germ as well!

Oh, so it wasn't my imagination, these posts did exsist! I get it, you're pacing yourself. Or maybe I just have an amazing talent to see into the future and I knew what you would post before you did! Hah! Maybe it was me who gave you the idea! That's deep.

Hey Chica! Haven't talked to you in a while, I guess that's my fault though. I do love you though, hope everything is going great!
P.S. You've got to check out this blog, it's totally a spoof on LDS blogging, it was on the news here, supposedly she gets hundreds of hits a day. It's pretty funny.
