These past two weeks for my sweetheart have been something close to fire and brimstone! Nathan is in the dreaded 5th quarter, and boy is it exactly what past students said it would be. I guess they really want to make sure that Dr.'s can handle stress, I think that is their only motivation right now! They are kept in class until 3 or later, then given only one day in between test days, oh and on that day, they have a big quiz! And all of these tests are big complex ones consisting of words that no normal person could even pronounce. (Trust me I've tried!) Oh, and did I mention that amidst all of this, we have the most important decision in our medical school career made for us by some computer system that decides where you will be spending the next two years...or longer!
So needless to say, I am ready for this quarter to be over. But Nathan has done wonderful through all of this! He has made sure to spend some quality time with us girls each day, and we all appreciate it. He is such a wonderful father and husband, and I am so grateful for him each day. He keeps treading the water even when it seems too hard to handle. I know he is going to make a great doctor some day, and we can look back at these days, and know that it was all worth it! Until then, hang in there sweetheart, and know that we are all cheering you on!

We did the match thing too; it is scary to let a computer decide which state you are going to live in!
Good luck Nathan and Annie! It is hard, and you will make it through!
Semper Fi! Or whatever it is that doctors yell. We are proud of you guys I'm sure it tough but your doing very well! We'll pray that you go somewhere exciting(Provo?)
Oh the suspense is killing me...I can't eat, sleep or even function. O.K. I am being dramatic, but still tomorrow isn't coming quick enough. So was your Amish friend waiting for you?
