Carthage Jail

We had to fit in a trip to Nauvoo before Miranda left, so we all headed that way on our way back to my house. Our first stop was at Carthage Jail. Mel watched the kids outside and I got to go in with Miranda. I haven't been back there in about 8 or more years, so it was nice to go through it again. The spirit there is so amazing. It is humbling to be where our Prophet Joseph Smith was martyred.

The next day I sent Miranda out with Mel to all of the Nauvoo houses, while I stayed and watched the kids at Mel's in laws house. I really wanted Miranda to get to see as much of Nauvoo as possible. The kids were great, and I am so grateful for the generosity of the Kings letting us invade their home. Thank You!

I am really going to miss this temple when we move back to Utah. There is a spirit there unlike any I've felt in any other temple. It is truly amazing.
