So Nathan survived his last final and passed all of his classes with flying colors! He always says he hopes he won't get 5th yeared, but I'm never sure why! He always does well and finishes with great grades! It now means that we have 5 quarters of bookwork down, and only 2 to go! We really enjoyed this last week having Nathan around. It is disgusting how much is required of him in school.
We relaxed the weekend away and then drove to Chicago on Monday. We took Nathan to the Field Museum on Tuesday, and he loved it. He is already talking about going back to visit it again! On Wednesday Mel was so nice to watch the girls for us so that we could go to the temple. We took some of Nathan's family names and did their baptisms, confirmations, and initiatory work. It is so wonderful to take part in progressing your own family's work. On Thursday, of course we slaved away the morning, then got to enjoy the fruits of our labors! We had a great dinner with the King family! Then Sami stayed home with the sleeping kids and let us go see Twilight! I can't believe I made it the whole week without seeing it! I loved it even with all of it's cheesy moments! On Friday we drove back home. Mel and her family are always so welcoming, and make us feel right at home. She gives up her room for us, and is still always inviting us back! We love their family, and will hopefully get to spend more time with them over the next six months, before we head back out west!
I failed to get very many pictures, so I need to get some from Mel, and then I'll post some. Oh, and by the way, I've been terribly behind for the last couple of months, so be prepared, I am going to be playing catch up over the next little bit!

Yeah for Nathan and all of you! We loved our Thanksgiving's with Mel too. Can't wait to see the flood of posts!
What is the plan for Mom & Dad?
Tell Nathan congrats, every quarter down brings you guys on step closer to the west! I am so jealous you were with Mel and her Family again, I miss them. So could you catch my blog up also???
Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving!!
Congrats to Nathan too!
Twilight was fun, I wasn't sure how much I liked it; it had a lot of those cheesy almost awkward moments but I think I'd already like to see it again...
We are so glad you had a relaxing week as a family. I'm glad you updated, we were beginning to wonder. Things here are busy, as you can see, but doing fine. Can't wait to see you this next summer.
Yeah for you guys! I'm glad you had a nice break with your family. It must be a good feeling to know that the hard part (as if the rest of medical school isnt hard) of school is over. Congrats!
Sounds like a fun week! Glad school is going well for Nathan, sorry we missed you last time you came down! Are you going home for Christmas?
Hey!! Congratulations to Nathan!! What a relief eh? Holidays are the best when you get to spend time with the ones you love!! I am excited for you to head this way soon!
Twilight was cheesy, huh? But I loved it too (if you read my blog, you already know this though). It was cheesy in different ways the 2 times I saw it. Friday night was a less mature audience...mostly teenage girls who ooohed and awwwwwed at everything Edward did and said. Saturday was a more mature audience, then the movie itself seemed more cheesy.
Congrats buddy! We've just got a little bit more to get through! It really amazes me that you can take all this stuff they throw at us and maintain a smile on your face...must be the awesome wife and kids you have!
Congrats to Nate! And you!! I love your blog background! Where did you get it? It's beautiful.
