How to Make This Mom's Day..

In case you haven't figured it out already, our darling daughter Aida has a deep love for horses. Okay, more like an obsession. But has anyone really sought out buying toy horses? It has been next to impossible to get one below $10.00. I looked at my local Walmart, the Dollar Tree, and oh so many internet stores, but could not find any inexpensive horses. She earned a set of two horses for going poop on the potty, but I was not happy about the price tag. So I was shopping at the dollar store on Tuesday, and low and behold they had some $1.00 horses!! Hooray, my day was made! I ended up purchasing every different style they had (8), she is playing with some, but the rest are tucked away for later times. I was so excited, and still feel those same joyful feelings right now! Oh, it is obvious I am a mom!! Dollar Tree has won me over!

I love a good find! I was addicted to the DI for awhile because I could find really great toys for really cheap.
Perhaps when your in IF we can meet up and she can go for a donkey ride at my dads (I know not that same as a horse but still fun for kids!!) And he has horses too!

When I saw this post I just started to giggle, I am not sure if it's because of your daughters obsession with horses, or cause finding them totally turned your day around. Oh how I love my sister Annie!16 more days!

Funny you should mention that...I was in Dollar Tree the other day and saw those very horses...and thought of Aida. I should have told you they were there!

Yay for dollar stores!!! Hey, just so you know, we decided just last night that we are going to Independence tomorrow (Sat). I know Nathan is busy, and it's last minute, but I just wanted to let you know. I hope all is going well at your home!

I should have told you that Bekah's horse that she always goes for is from the dollar tree. I'm sure she has it now!
