Out on the Water

Nathan's school put on a BBQ Friday evening at Thousand Hills Lake. We went on a plantoon boat around the lake a little. It was freezing cold, but Aida and Ariah both enjoyed the ride. And of course mom enjoyed a free night of not having to cook!

They didn't have baby sized life jackets, so we figured if anything happened, Ariah's chunk would keep her bouyant!

Nathan and I met in 2003. I had moved to Utah to attend BYU, determined to not get married too quickly, mostly because everyone said that would happen! Well I met Nathan 3 weeks after I got there. He was an assistant manager at Famous Footwear, where I got a job part time. He had no say in the hire, but of course he didn't complain! We both knew we wanted to get married, but for some reason it took 21 months! I love to tease Nathan about this, because it wasn't my fault at all that it took that long. But we did enjoy those days, and we sure grew closer together. We got married on in 2004 in the Idaho Falls temple. Sixteen months later we had Aida. Two and half years later he graduated from UVSC. Three years later we moved to go to medical school. Three and a quarter years later we had Ariah.
